Growing & Microgreens
What are microgreens?
Microgreens are young vegetable greens harvested shortly after sprouting, known for their rich flavor and high nutrient content.
Do I need sunlight?
No. The built-in LED provides all the light needed for healthy indoor growth. You can decide if you have plenty of sunlight in the room – feel free not to use the LED light.
Using the Kit
How do I set up the kit and start growing?
Setup takes just a few minutes. Screw the bottom plate to LED stand with the 2 provided screws. Place the Tray and sprout grill and growing mat – spread the seeds, add water and wait for germination. Once sprouts germinate take of the cover and switch on the light.
How does the light work?
The built-in LED runs on a 12-hour automatic cycle, so you don’t need to manage it daily. Button on left serves for On/Off, Right button starts the 12h Timer. Once Timer is started – LED light will light for 12h and then automatically will switch off for another 12h and so on.
When are the microgreens ready to harvest, and how to cut?
Most varieties are ready in 7–14 days, depending on the crop and room conditions. Once microgreens gain height, cut them 1cm above the growing mat with a sharp knife or scissors. Rinse them and serve them as you like, or eat them raw.
How do I clean the kit?
Remove the used mat, rinse the tray with water, and clean it with mild soap if needed. Let it dry before starting a new batch.
